I’m John Kenny. My wife, Liz Krivonosov and I have shared a love of exploration and adventure ever since we met. We’ve been from the Arctic to Antarctica and a lot of places in between. Now that we’re retired, we hope to fill in some of the blanks. We’re willing to go just about anywhere that there isn’t an active war going on.
So far, since retiring, we’ve been to visit the polar bears in Churchill, Manitoba; we paddled the Grand Canyon; explored family roots in Ireland; and spent 5 months exploring South America. That journey is chronicled in another section of this website. It describes how I was finally able to achieve a fifty year old dream and ride my motorcycle to Ushuaia, at the tip of Argentina, as far south as you can drive anywhere in the world.
But it’s about more than just checking boxes on the bucket list. It’s about experiencing what makes each place unique – the art, music, food and traditions. And most of all the people – what they care about and how they see the world. It’s about getting to know this incredible planet, the wonders of nature and the human family we are all part of.
My goal in these pages is to share these experiences with you. I can’t promise any regular schedule, but if you subscribe I’ll let you know when there are new posts to enjoy.
Thanks for reading.
