This is a list of spare parts and tools we are bringing. Having matching motorcycles, both Yamaha Tenere 700, means we can use a common set of spares and tools. Since both bikes have less than 10,000 km on them, we shouldn’t have major issues. However it’s good to be prepared. A lot of it has to do with tires, as we anticipate flats & punctures to be the most common problem. Both of us are fairly handy at turning a wrench and should be able to deal with most roadside issues. I’ll revisit this section at the end of the trip to review what we used or not.
Note: this list is based on having 2 motorcycles – you should adjust according to your party.
