  • The cyclo drivers were amazing at negotiating the traffic.
  • Statue to Lady Pehn who found Phnom Penh in 1372.
  • Independence Monument.
  • Constitution Monument
  • Phnom Penh at night.
  • S-21
  • Tiny cells were built inside former classrooms.
  • A hole connecting two cell ranges.
  • Children were not exempt at S-21.
  • Memorial in the courtyard of S-21 to its more than 20,000 victims.
  • Chum Mey, one of only 8 adult survivors of S-21.
  • Bou Meng, also a survivor.
  • Mass graves at Choeung Ek – one of nearly 300 killing fields.
  • This stupa at Choeung Ek houses over 5000 skulls.
  • Sunset cruise on the Mekong. A much needed respite after a very intense day.
  • Orysia, one of our tour group members, sings Donna Summer. Dave & Malcom sing backup.
  • A fishing village across the river from Phnom Penh.
  • Fishermen haul their nets.
  • The rebirth of Phnom Penh and all Cambodia is simply remarkable.
